What education does it take? For full credentials an undergraduate degree then a masters degree in prosthetics and orthotics. Finally a residency program and board exams. NCOPE
If I have my degree in biomedical engineering can I treat patients? No.
What would you recommend for an undergraduate degree if I want to pursue orthotics and prosthetics? Just find out the prerequisites you need and then pursue what you want while making sure you pick up the courses you need for entry into the masters programs.
